Somnium follows the story of Xander Edmund, who unlocks the ability to traverse the Noosphere, a theoretical realm that is the human collective subconscious given physical form, elevated to a higher layer of reality.

Using this newfound ability, Xander must understand the laws of this realm before it consumes him.

The Costa Concordia? The Moon landing? To Kill a Mockingbird? Every plan in every heist movie? The simulation of the Andromeda galaxy colliding with the Milky Way? Every self-deprecatory thought?

It's somewhere out there in the Noosphere.

But that's not all. There are autonomous entities that prowl the Noosphere, searching for something. Some maintain order, some cause chaos, some don't even care.
